It's the New Year: 2012

It's 2012, a new year and 2011 is now but a distant memory in the back of our heads. There were a lot of things that happened to me in 2011: I graduated from university with 2 degrees, I couldn't find a full time job yet, got my Samsung Galaxy SII, got my new camera (Olympus E-P3) and I met many new and good friends. Also many bad things happened as well in 2011 like the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, 2011 Tohoku earthquake (Great East Japan Earthquake/東日本大震災), death of Dennis MacAlistair Ritchiey (created the C programming language) and lastly Apple suing Samsung and other companies because Apple doesn't want to lose like a rich kid to new cool kid but Apple does have it's patents.

Also 2012 January 23rd is the start of the Year of the Dragon, as that is the start of the Lunar New Year. Japan instead starts the Year of the Dragon following the Christian Calendar.

2012 went off to a great start, I waited with my friends for 7 hours to see the New Year's Eve fireworks in North Sydney and then went to see the sunrise at Bondi beach which I was able to get some great photos. The sunrise was great and it's always great to see it as it will help us realise our dreams in the new year.

After seeing the sunrise, we walked for 30 mins to get some breakfast which I would say was really good. So it was good of my friend to show us this place. Well I think it was good haha maybe because my friend said it was a 5 minute walk but it become 30 minutes after walking about 10 blocks and so I became more hungry.

After eating my first breakfast of the new year and seeing the first sunrise, me and my friends all went home to get some rest. It was a tired night and day, so the first morning of the new year was all fun and games but no rest.

I really hope 2012 will be a great year, as I hope to find a good full time job or I would have wasted 5 years at university getting 2 degrees for no reason. Also I hope that I can reach my many goals which I have yet to finalise.

Well lets leave 2011 behind and look forward to 2012. Lets cheer on for a great new year in 2012 and I hope you have a great start like I did.
Peace out! (⌒∇⌒)ノ""

It's Nearly Christmas Time

☆Hey!ヽ('ー'#)/ Hello!☆ It's Kevin here and it's the Christmas season right now in Summer 2011, with Christmas only 4 days away on a Sunday. With Christmas decorations everywhere and buildings lighting up at night its feels great. Well for those living in Winter land, maybe it feels weird that Christmas is also in Summer but it's not weird just warmer. Well it doesn't matter Winter or Summer, as long as we all have that Christmas spirit within us.

Also it's late to start a blog but I'm gonna see if I can make this blog happen, well I'm using Google+ more and more  now to do other things (photography) I'm not doing on Facebook and one thing is to socialise with people that I'm not already friends with. Well on Facebook I'm keeping in contact with friends locally and overseas, also keeping up to date with events and what my friends do around the city so I can join in the fun. Well I'm going to link this blog to my Google+ profile. With Google + I wonder if I need to do a blog, but maybe I will do a blog post if the topic or thing I want to say is huge.

Anyway, here is my first post on this blog and lets see how far it will take me in this day and age where blogs are declining in popularity.
Peace out! (⌒∇⌒)ノ""
